SHOUT ABOUT SOUTHEND

YOUR ARTWORK REPRESENTED RIGHT BY THE PIER IN THE BUSIEST TOURIST SPOT FOR 6 WHOLE WEEKS IN THE SUMMER FOR £30!!!!

Shout About Southend is a mixed exhibition of 2D art and photography hosted by The Little Known Studio at Twenty One Venue.

Show Dates area 17th June 2024 to 29th July 2024

We are looking for 2d artwork and photography including digital manipulations, cartoonists etc, from anybody that lives in the SS Postal district.

The clue is in the title, we want this exhibition to scream the great points about Southend, and despite the naysayers and the keyboard warriors, a quick look around YOUTUBE and you realise in comparison we have an area to shout about.

You will be able to show off two of your artworks or photographs in an assigned space of 800mm wide by 1600mm high. So use that space.

We have space for 16 Show Off Artists.

£30 Fee for Submission if chosen.

30% Commission on all sales, We will handle all sales directly.

Submission Deadline 2nd June 2024 at midnight.

If you are chosen.

You must to be able to deliver the artwork on the day of 17th June by noon. Also collection must be on the 29th July not before or after. We have no provision to store artwork for you. We will arrange collection of all sold artwork.

OPEN EVENING 20th June 2024 7pm -9pm and if you are part of the exhibition you must attend as we want you to be onsite to talk up your work, (Dont worry not onstage, just to your family and friends). Do not be lazy with this. We urge you to invite your database of buyers if you have one, also all your family and friends. The more people in, you more chance of sales right!

We will be promoting each and every artist during the show via Facebook and Instagram, so the more info you give the more we can shout about you!

If you are chosen, you must make sure the following.

You provide.

1 x A5 (no larger) creative bio including brief description of the piece and your social media links. Any Larger and it wont be put up.

2 x Sales labels no larger than 3cm x 5cm with the title of the piece and price.

Also.

Your artwork must be able to be hung on hooks or screws, failure to do this will mean rejected pieces and a reserve artist will take your place we will hang your artwork.

Your Bio and price labels will be blue tacked to the wall.

We reserve the right of curation and art placement in venue.
