The Southend Junior Portrait Taster

Open to everyone under the age of 18.

Experience life drawing study with a real life sitter for one timed hour on the easel.

Professional artists on hand to offer advice and guidance while creating.

Held on Saturday 27th April 2024

Your artist will get a certificate of participation and be able to take home their creation in either pencil or paint, plus the experience of creating an image with a real life sitter (clothed).

THE PROCESS IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Register your interest to take part and pay your £10 entry fee.

(Registration is on a first come booking basis). Places are limited so get your entry in quickly.

IMPORTANT, Please make sure upon booking you book the right time.

Each session will be with children of the same age range specified.

Your little artist will have one hour to create an image of the life sitter infront of them.

Then we will call time and give certificates before swapping over to the next age session.

We will provide acrylic paints, pencils, paper, on the day, so you do not need to bring anything unless your artist prefers to bring their own equipment. They can have a chair or stand, will also be provided with an easel and board with paper for the creation.

Your child will be able to take home their created piece at the end of the session.

You must make sure that you arrive at the latest 20 minutes before you are due to paint.

Timings for the day is such.

9am - 10am Mixed age Session

10am Cert and Swap over

11am - 12am Mixed Age Session

12am Cert and Swap over

1pm - 2pm Mixed age Session

2pm Cert Swap Over

3pm - 4pm Mixed Age Session

All ages receive a certificate of participation.
